The Live for Less team will be there with bells on at the upcoming Green Heart Fair at Carindale on Sunday 10 September. Here’s what we have lined up on stage in the Live for Less marquee.
Hannah Klose, Never Ever Pay Retail
Hannah Klose is a sustainable fashion advocate who loves the thrill of the chase. From her website: “There’s something about hunting for treasure that gets my heart rate up. You just never know what lovely little surprises are just around the corner. 99% of my wardrobe is pre-loved and when people quiz me on my get up I often catch myself saying ‘never ever pay retail’.”
Jack Stone, beekeeper and honeybee advocate
Jack Stone is the founder of Bee One Third, a Brisbane-based rooftop and urban beehive initiative. He’s been placing and maintaining beehives on rooftops of commercial buildings around the city since 2012. Clients include City Subaru, Roma Street Parklands, Hotel Jen and the James Street Precinct, with which he shares some of the honey harvested for use within their restaurants and as thankyou gifts. The rest he sells online and through local markets and retailers under the Bee One Third Neighbourhood Honey brand banner.
